Meet the team
Universities
The environment is in a critical phase with regard to global warming and severe climate change. It is incumbent on us all to contribute where and whenever possible on the sustainability debate. A lot has been learnt in this sector, but to paraphrase Winston Churchill…
“This is not the beginning of the end, this is just the end of the beginning.“
…a lot more can be learned.

Environmental Policy

With our work supporting the UK’s corporate and commercial energy users in obtaining the most efficient and sustainable energy solutions. We ourselves have firm set goals to ensure that our company’s own practices support a greener future.
There is now an urgent need to transition to a low-carbon model and our company policy in support of this is as follows:
- We take into account environmental credentials when sourcing office supplies, purchasing all our paper 100% recycled from UK manufacturers.
- When larger office purchases are needed, we buy either pre-used items or new items that have good environmental credentials.
- The main waste output from our office is paper and cardboard; 100% of which is recycled (when it cannot be reused).
- Where batteries are required, we always source rechargeables.
- Invoices are sent via email where possible.
- With travel the main component of our work connecting with rural businesses, we currently buy carbon offsets for our annual mileage via The Carbon Neutral Company.
Sustainable investments
Sustainability means living our lives today in a way won’t compromise future generations. It considers economic, social and environmental impacts. Please see our Corporate Social Responsibility policy for further information in this area.
